Bread Rolls Recipe

Here is a fast and easy bread rolls recipe. Try a batch of these yummy rolls with dinner tonight!

Ingredients:

1 packet instant yeast  
2 tablespoons sugar 
1/2 cup milk  
2 tablespoons margarine or butter
2 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup water
1 small egg

Directions:

Combine milk, water and margine and heat to 115°F to 125°F. Place 1 cup flour, sugar, salt, egg and dry yeast in large bowl. Add heated liquid and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes with an electric mixer. Slowly stir in remaining 1 cup of flour. On a floured surface, knead the dough until firm and smooth, about 10 minutes.

Cover and let rest 10 minutes. Divide and roll the dough into 24 equal pieces. Place 2 pieces into greased 3-inch cup pans. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 1/2 hour.

Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until browned.Remove from pans and serve warm or cool.

Yield: 12 rolls
