Here is a delicious recipe for buttermilk waffles. Enjoy these warm with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
Directions:
Makes: 8 waffles
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside.
Stir in buttermilk, butter, and eggs, until thoroughly mixed (batter will be thick).
Pour about 2/3 to 3/4 cup of batter onto the waffle baker. Cook 6 to 7 minutes or until golden brown.
