Here is a Southern recipe for corn cake. Try these for breakfast or brunch with butter and syrup.
Corn Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups cornmeal
1 teaspoon flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon melted butter
Milk
Directions:
Beat eggs, add cornmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, and butter. Add enough milk to make a thin batter. Pour out onto a hot griddle and flip to other side when brown. Serve with butter and syrup.
